The role of a general practitioner is inherently linked to interpreting complex symptoms, human interactions, and making medical decisions based on a wide range of knowledge. While AI can assist at certain levels, such as in assisted diagnosis or data collection, the true essence of medicine is deeply human.
The judgment, empathy, and experience of a physician cannot be fully automated. The need for personal interaction to assess and reassure patients is also paramount. AI can complement but not replace the vital role of physicians in patient care.
